Do you when and where will this report be available? This stuff generally takes a long time. Bless you for bringing the attention and have a super day.
I have six or more Eastern Bluebirds in our neighborhood. I feed them their favorite mealworms. We also have many Starlings right now, about 12-15, with ferocious appetites! I think we have six Morning Doves that are regular year round. We have Strawberry and Yellow Finches, and I am unsure how many. It may be a good 18-20, for they love my fresh Niger seeds. A few Woodpeckers (3), Tufted Tit Mouse (2-3) a . There's a crime scene from an attack from a Periquin Hawk (1) a few days ago, and I see (3) Red Tail Hawks regularly. A Blue Herron is around year-round, but I did not see him today. A few Black-capped chickadees appeared (2), Black-capped chickadee (1), Downy Woodpecker (2), White-throated Sparrow (5), (2) Cardinals, and (1) Bluejay.
I wish I could see more birds, I’m in Minnesota is called. They’re still hibernating. Can’t wait till they come back and come out of their mess in the spring time.
I couldn't count all the birds I saw on Saturday, 15 Feb. Where I live, just out of Adelaide, South Australia, we have a type of cockatoo called a Galah. They are large noisy birds adorned with pink and grey feathers and seem to travel in groups. Last evening, before sunset, I heard a big flock lift off across the street at a small grove of eucalyptus trees. I turned and followed them as far as I could see. I ran around the corner and caught them alighting on the sports fields in a nearby park. It's been super dry here at the edge of the Australian desert, but the soccer pitch and baseball diamond in the park get watered regularly. As I approached the park, I delighted in the chatter of dozens of Galahs as they picked at the cool green grass.
Thank you, Rickie Lee, for this reminder to notice the little things.
Love birds! I was an avid birdwatcher for several years, until life swept me into other realms, but I have never lost my fascination with these incredible fellow earthlings. Thanks for the heads up!
After twenty years in the Arizona wilderness where birds were my constant companions I now find myself in the city. It's mostly pigeons and dove with the occasional Cooper's hawk and hummingbird. Sigh.
I have wild turkeys (dinosaurs, really) crossing my property in Oklahoma every day. With all the red-tailed hawks in my neighborhood, we don’t ever have rodent problems. Also, sometimes around 2 - 3 AM our neighborhood great horned owls are loud!
I feed my babies too 🥰. I have eastern blue birds that talk to me when I appear on the scene 🎬. If I don’t see them out when I feed them, all I need to do is whistle for them and they come sailing in on the airwaves.

Rickie!!!!! We were in Key West and South Miami Beach last week. We saw Green Parrots in the city! Could hear them gossiping too! Truly amazing!

I made a bluebird song 🎶 when I worked on the railroad 🛤️ as I always had my eye for them in the big outdoors ☺️💫
Will do! Still pretty snowy here in the woods of Southern Oregon but been scattering seed so I shall do this ! Thanks for the reminder!🐦⬛👍🏽💜
Yep. We'll watch them bathe our fountain and keep count'n.
