Thanks for the beautiful tribute to one of the greatest voices of all time, Ms. Ronnie Spector. You described so well her indelible effect on all that has come since. Including the Springsteen connection...she was such a hero to him, and his buddy Stevie van Zandt. She helped them early in their career, and they helped to resurrect hers.
Billy Joel wrote a song with Ronnie in mind, called "Say Goodbye to Hollywood." Several years later, mounting her comeback, she recorded it, backed by the E Street Band. Check it out. Ronnie at her finest. May she rest in peace and power.
